Siavash Tabrizy, M.F.T., Ph.D.
Siavash Tabrizy, Ph.D., is a Life member of Board Certified Diplomat from American Psychotherapy Association. He is versed in both Modern and Ancient psychology. Since he began his career in 1982 Dr. Tabrizy has been program Coordinator and Director of numerous In/Out patient facilities providing individual, couple, family and group therapy, and has worked with a wide range of ages, including, Children, Adolescences, Adults and Geriatric populations.
He Co-founded phoenix men and family center in 1989, which received international recognition for its innovative approach to Holistic treatment at that time. Dr. Tabrizy’s center has been featured on KABC, KNBC, the BBC and in numerous newspaper articles.
He co-founded T.L.C. counseling Center with his wife Sydelle Tabrizy in 1993. In 2010 they expanded to become T.L.C. Whole Health Center.
Dr Tabrizy was recognized as “Hero of the City of Long Beach” by press Telegram for the outstanding psychotherapeutic and Humanitarian efforts in 1997. He has served on several boards of advisors and is currently active with two non–profit organizations, the Hoffman institute and Corazon De Vida foundation for orphans. He is a member of American Psychological Association, American Psycho-therapist Association and California Association Of Marriage and Family Therapist. He is known in his field for his unique, compassionate approach, utilizing both Modern and Ancient modalities along with integrative psycho-spiritual treatment, addressing the framework of each individual’s faith in the awakening of consciousness. He has conducted cutting edge Rage/Anger and Grief workshops for 18 years.
Dr. Tabrizy has been practicing and teaching meditation for wellness and self- awareness for the past 20 years. He has numerous expertise in psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral treatment and trained in as Chi gong practionair as well as a Shamon healer by a native American healer . He has practiced Hypnosis, EMDR for over 15 years in numerous setting.He is also seriously committed to doing his own personal psycho-spiritual work, with the understanding that a healer and therapist can only take a client as far as they have gone in their own work. He has been a student, teacher and Co-director at the Gnostic Institute of Universal Esoteric Studies since 1995, a school that teaches the awakening of individual consciousness for all of humanity.
Dr. Tabrizy is fluent in both English and Farsi (Persian language).
